Fly Nonstop to Cancun and Punta Cana with American Airlines’ Latest Routes!
American Airlines is set to enhance its service to popular warm-weather destinations with the introduction of new flights to Cancun, Mexico, and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, starting this November.
Beginning November 8, American will launch a weekly Saturday flight from Oklahoma City (OKC) to Cancun (CUN), operated on a Boeing 737. This addition positions American as the sole carrier offering direct connections between these two cities. With this new route, American will operate 40 peak-day flights to Cancun from 19 different U.S. destinations.
Expanding its reach to Punta Cana, American will commence weekly flights on December 6 from Indianapolis (IND), Nashville (BNA), Pittsburgh (PIT), and Raleigh-Durham (RDU). These services will also utilize Boeing 737 aircraft. The inclusion of these routes increases American’s departures to Punta Cana to 20 peak-day flights from 11 U.S. cities.
In addition to these expansions, American Airlines recently announced the introduction of another flight to Hawaii. The new seasonal service will connect Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) to Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole (KOA) on the Island of Hawaii, further broadening the airline’s network to sought-after destinations.
